# Bosch refrigeration error code E03

### What this one means

The dispenser's user interface is not responding as it should.

### What the code covers

A published cause names a circuit rather than a component, which is the single most useful thing to know before ordering a part. This one covers:

- The dispenser control panel
- Its circuit

### Worth doing before you call

- Cut power at the breaker for thirty seconds
- Check whether the ice maker is still producing — if it is, water is reaching the refrigerator and this is the dispenser side alone

### Then what

The second of the three refrigeration codes. Whether the ice maker still works is the fastest way to split this problem in half, and it costs nothing to establish.

This code is published for refrigerators. [The full list of codes](https://esbosch.djwp.xyz/error-codes/) has the rest.
